With the dv 455, Liesegang offers a LCD projector that features 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 369 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 246 cm. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
