Equipped with LCD technology, the Dukane ImagePro 8981-L offers 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 8000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 779 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Dukane.
