With the ImagePro 8142WSS, Dukane offers a LCD projector that features 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 60 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 658 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 439 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Dukane.
