The equipment of the Boxlight Boston X28NST projector includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 123 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Boxlight.
