Based on LCD technology, the Philips NeoPix 250 Smart projects images in a Game-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 250 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 161 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 107 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
