Based on DLP technology, the Philips PicoPix PPX3414 device delivers 140 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480 and a contrast of 1000:1 as a projector. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. A look at the light output reveals: The 140 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 120 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 80 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media.
