This projector is named EK-831DU, originates from Eiki, and its data sheet shows 11000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1066 cm can be illuminated with 11000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 711 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
