Based on LCD technology, the Eiki LC XB15 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 1700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 239 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
