Based on LCD technology, the Hitachi CP BW301WN device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 10000:1 as a projector. According to Hitachi, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 80 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
