Known as the XEED WUX7500, this LCOS projector by Canon features basic specs of 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 880 cm can be illuminated with 7500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 587 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Canon. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
