The projector C1 by TCL utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 288 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. A look at the light output reveals: The 288 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 172 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 115 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels.
