Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the MICO ST projector from SIM2 projects with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution, alongside 800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 135 cm. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 191 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2.
