According to Mitsubishi, the XD8600 model provides 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2800:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 803 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 535 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
