With the LED1081, Knoll Systems offers a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Knoll Systems lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 287 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 191 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

The projector is okay, very quiet. But not suitable for daylight. The ANSI lumens arent exactly impressive. But this technology needs to be developed further. This device is currently something of a prototype. But otherwise a top projector.
