The IN228 is a 3D-DLP projector by InFocus, whose specifications list 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 17000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.
