Equipped with DLP technology, the Formovie 4K Cinema offers 2625 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 25000 hours – calculating to 17.1 years at four hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 46 cm. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 2625 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 466 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 311 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Thanks to Android TV, the device features an intuitive user interface with direct access to popular streaming apps. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for optional Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
