The Eos Family 2023 is a 3D-LCOS projector by DreamVision, whose specifications list 1900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 40000:1 and a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 6.2 years based on two hours of use per day. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projection Calculator is recommended. Regarding projection size, the value of 1900 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 22 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2023 and is officially no longer distributed by DreamVision.
