Equipped with LCD technology, the 3M MP 8610 offers 500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 200:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 195 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 130 cm. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range. The projection is okay. A smaller screen width would result in a brighter image.

It‘s certainly not a current model, but I was able to get it at a reasonable price. Is absolutely sufficient. The only drawback is the loud fan noise, otherwise sufficient light for the older BJ, some extra functions.
