The hardware properties of the CompactView SX50 OS manufactured by 3D perception include 5500 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution and a contrast value of 7500:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1700 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 646 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 431 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
