Based on DLP technology, the 3D perception CompactView SX25+ E device delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 and a contrast of 2500:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
