Known as the 4K Ultra Short Throw Laser TV, this 3D-Laser-DLP projector by VAVA features basic specs of 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500000:1 at a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 25000 hours – calculating to 17.1 years at four hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 47 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
