Based on DLP technology, the Toumei M1 projects images in a Game-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. A look at the light output reveals: The 250 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 190 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 127 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Equipped with Google TV, the device provides direct access to a broad spectrum of streaming services. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels.
