The RD860 model is a LED projector from ThundeaL, intended for Game-Portabel applications, offering 120 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at VGA 640 x 360. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 50000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 34.2 years at 4 hours a day. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. A look at the light output reveals: The 120 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 95 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 63 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media.
