The basic data of the Runco LCP 550 includes 400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of VGA 640 x 480 as well as a contrast of 200:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 174 cm can be illuminated with 400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 116 cm. The projector was released in 1996 and is officially no longer distributed by Runco.
