Model Overview With the L 551, nView offers a LCD projector that features 400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 200:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to nView, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours.
Looking at practical performance, up to 174 cm can be illuminated with 400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 116 cm.
This model dates back to 1997 and is no longer part of nView's current product range.

If I could get a new LCD panel for it, I would still be quite satisfied with the projector.

It‘s big and heavy, but the lamp lasts forever (I‘ve already used it for over 5,000 hours!!)

Only the LCD panel got too warm once and that‘s why the picture has a green spot.

And unfortunately I haven‘t found a replacement panel yet....
