The DLP K50 is a DLP projector by MediaLy, whose specifications list 175 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 175 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 132 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 88 cm. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of MediaLy's current product range.
