The equipment of the Maxell MC-WX8265 projector includes 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 with a WXGA 1280 x 80 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 546 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Maxell.
