The iPAQ mp3800 model from Hewlett Packard combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 1300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 314 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 209 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Hewlett Packard's current lineup.
