The PX3 Pro model from Hisense combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 42 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast, Airplay and DLNA, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
