As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Geha compact 290 is equipped with 2500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 800:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Geha.
