The GP8S model from ExquizOn combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a native HVAG 480 x 320 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 20000 hours for the LED light source – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 46 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 87 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 58 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from ExquizOn's current lineup.
