As a projector, the Asus P3B combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding the power supply, the projector features an internal battery that enables a mobile runtime of up to 1 hour. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 191 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Asus.
