With the D315M / SX500, Luxeon offers a DLP projector that features 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
