A projector from XGIMI is the Horizon 20 Pro, whose 3D-Laser-DLP model delivers 5125 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 20000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Looking at practical performance, up to 727 cm can be illuminated with 5125 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 485 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
