A brief introduction to the Vivitek DU8195Z. The DLP laser projector has a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer specifies a laser life of 20000 hours, which converts to over 13.7 years at 4 hours per day. The projector also offers a lens shift function for flexible projection adjustment without loss of quality. Thanks to the brightness of 13500 Ansi lumens, an image width of 1180 cm is possible. The projector will also manage slightly brighter rooms with a smaller image width (we recommend a maximum of 787 cm). If the image is still too small, the integrated edge blending software can help to project a larger image with additional projectors. It is also Full HD 1080P and 3D compatible, meaning it can even project Blu-rays onto the ceiling thanks to 360° projection. The model built in 2019 is no longer offered by Vivitek.
