As a projector, the Plus UP 880 combines DLP technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 246 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 164 cm. The projector was released in 1998 and is officially no longer distributed by Plus. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
