The ThinkVision E500 model is a LED-DLP projector from IBM, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at SVGA 800 x 600. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 232 cm. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by IBM. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
