Equipped with LCD technology, the Eiki LC VM1 offers 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 213 cm can be illuminated with 600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 142 cm. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

The projector is very handy, almost smaller than a slide projector. The picture is crystal clear, whether via S-Video, RCA or VGA. The colors are bright and the contrast couldn‘t be better! In any case, I have never seen a projector that offers better black levels and contrast.
Only the fan noise is a bit annoying in home theater mode in quiet scenes, but if you mount it on the ceiling, you can hear it much quieter. Only the fan noise is a bit loud.
